Less than one month to apply

Applications are now open for Project Change Foundation’s 2027 grant cycle, with a deadline of June 30, 2026. One Canadian charity will be selected to receive a $3,000 grant along with customized mentorship from an experienced business advisor. This combination of financial support and advisory guidance is designed to help emerging charities strengthen their operations, scale their impact, and achieve long‑term sustainability.

Project Change Foundation is especially interested in supporting charities with a community or environmental focus that demonstrate strong growth potential. Past recipients include Vancouver Food Runners, Volunteer Success, Build a Biz Kids, Food Stash Foundation, Courage in Action, and several others. You can explore the full list of past recipients and their impact stories at: www.projectchangefoundation.com/past-recipients. Each of these organizations has used PCF’s support to expand programs, strengthen leadership, and deepen their impact in Canadian communities.

Charities in the early stages of development are encouraged to apply online by June 30. The board looks forward to reviewing applications and selecting the next organization to join the growing network of PCF‑supported charities.

Tips for writing a strong application

Applying for a Project Change Foundation grant is straightforward, with just three questions on the online form. To help charities prepare strong applications, the board has outlined several tips based on past experience:

  • Keep responses short and specific, sticking to word‑count limits.
  • Provide concrete examples of how funding will be used.
  • Clearly state project goals and expected impact.
  • Identify the type of advisory support needed, since PCF provides mentorship as well as funding.
  • Demonstrate readiness for growth, showing how the charity can expand its reach and strengthen its impact.

To ensure our support reaches organizations aligned with our mission, we use the following criteria to guide our selection process. We look for charities that are:

  • Emerging, with clear potential for growth
  • Rooted in community engagement
  • Focused on developing future changemakers
  • Driven by tangible, measurable outcomes
  • Committed to improving their communities or the environment

Every year, we see charities take their vision and turn it into something real—like new programs, stronger partnerships, or practical solutions that make life better in their communities. That’s the kind of progress we’re eager to see again in this year’s applications.
